On June 25th, the industry standards "Technical Guidelines for Live Working of ± 660 kV DC Transmission Lines" and "Construction Process Guidelines for Overhead Transmission Line Expanded Conductors" were compiled under the leadership of China Electric Power Research Institute
Approved for release, the two-line standards will be officially implemented on August 1st.
On June 25th, the industry standards "Technical Guidelines for Live Working of ± 660 kV DC Transmission Lines" and "Construction Process Guidelines for Overhead Transmission Line Expanded Conductors", led by the China Electric Power Research Institute, were approved and released on the Standard Query Network (www.spsp. gov.cn). The two line standard will be officially implemented on August 1st.
The "Technical Guidelines for Live Working of ± 660 kV DC Transmission Lines" standard determines the main technical requirements for live working of ± 660 kV DC transmission lines, including the minimum safe distance, combination gap, minimum effective insulation length of insulation tools, safety protection, equipotential in and out, and testing of tools. It is based on the research results of the technology project of ± 660 kV DC transmission line live working of the power grid company, combined with the implementation experience of live working of transmission lines in China, and provides technical basis for live working of ± 660 kV DC transmission lines.
The "Guidelines for the Construction Technology of Expanded Conductors for Overhead Transmission Lines" fills the gap in the industry standards for the construction technology of expanded conductors in China, and will effectively improve the level of transmission line engineering construction in China, providing strong technical support for the construction of power transmission and transformation projects in China. This standard improves the construction technology of overhead transmission lines with loose hanging and supporting expanded diameter conductors, providing systematic guidance for the construction of different types of expanded diameter conductors.
